On a light-hearted note!
THE LIONTAMER ROADSHOW...
...BLUFF OYSTERS AT THE PAC N SAVE CARPARK!
It was Sunday night and the Liontamer team had flown into Invercargill to start our nationwide roadshow. We were met by Michael Anderson from MSCI who had joined us on tour and who had just flown in from Sydney.
After some much predicted moaning from our friendly Aussie about the temperature and the expense of needing to buy a winter coat, gloves and hat to tackle the Southland climate, we rose to the challenge and began impressing our new Australian friend with tales of Bluff Oysters. But to our horror, they were off the menu at the Ascot Hotel and our promises couldn't be fulfilled.
To rescue, came the Dunedin financial planning community. We were promptly directed to Pac n Save - $16.99 a dozen, the cheapest in town they promised us! It was here in the car park, on the bonnet of our Holden rental car, with a freshly squeezed lemon, that MSCI's Michael Anderson was finally able to sample one of New Zealand's greatest delights.
From the Liontamer team - "thank you Dunedin for a wonderful recommendation".
