LIONTAMER ‘BRIC+ STUDY TOUR’ PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
  1. Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
  2. By entering this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of entry.
  3. The Liontamer ‘BRIC+ STUDY TOUR’ promotion (“the Promotion”) commences on 11 February 2008 and closes at 5.00pm on 25 April 2008.
  4. There will be one prize of a trip to Brazil, or Russia, or India, or China for one adult as a delegate on a BRIC+ Study Tour as organised by Portfolio Construction Forum and Think Global Consulting (“the Prize”).
  5. The draw for the Prize will take place during the week of 5 May 2008 to 9 May 2008 from all valid entries received by Liontamer Investment Services Limited (“the Promoter”).
  6. The first valid entry randomly drawn will win the Prize.  Where the employment terms or internal policies or protocols of the employer of the winning entrant (“the company”) require it, the winner of the Prize will be selected by the company from its employees using whatever selection criteria the company’s management deems appropriate, in its entire discretion.
  7. To enter the Promotion, entrants must be financial advisers / planners / or stockbrokers working in New Zealand for New Zealand based financial services companies and have clients invest a total of at least NZ$10,000 in EMERGE Series 1 Trust 25 and include their full name, address and contact telephone numbers along with each application.
  8. Applications must be received by Link Market Services Limited no later than 5:00pm on 25 April 2008.
  9. Entrants will receive one entry per NZ$10,000 invested by their clients.
  10. The Prize is made up of the following:
    a. Travel and Transportation: Economy class Return air travel for one adult flying on an airline to be named by the Promoter, from Auckland International Airport, New Zealand to Sydney Australia.  The departure date must be arranged to coincide with the BRIC+ Study Tours as referred to below and approved by the Promoter. Current departure dates, subject to change, are available at http://portfolioconstruction.com.au/BRIC. Domestic air travel to and from Auckland International Airport will also be provided if the winner resides outside Auckland.  All travel arrangements will be booked through Kylie Masters, House of Travel Limited.

    b. Accommodation: One nights’ accommodation in Sydney Australia for one adult on a twin share basis at a three star (or better) Hotel (to be decided by the Promoter).  Any additional accommodation will be at the winner’s cost.

    c. BRIC+ Study Tour: One place on the BRIC+ Study Tour of the winner’s choice, including the cost of airfares, hotel and other accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), ground transport, travel insurance, pre-departure preparation and materials and tour itinerary but not including personal shopping, sightseeing, alcoholic beverages, or other personal costs unless otherwise agreed in writing between the winner and the Promoter.
  11. The prize is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the BRIC+ Study Tours as detailed by the tour organisers, Portfolio Construction Forum and Think Global Consulting, and published on www.portfolioconstructionforum.com.au
  12. All flights, tours and accommodation are subject to availability.  The Promoter shall not be responsible if, for any reason not under the Promoter’s control, any part of the Prize becomes unavailable.
  13. The airline (to be named by the Promoter) will have conditions which apply to all travel undertaken as part of the Prize.  The winner will be required to abide by the terms of carriage for applicable travel conditions.
  14. Departure tax and any transport to and from Auckland International Airport (other than as described in 10a) is the responsibility of the winner.
  15. The winner must accept and sign a booking agreement which includes any cancellation or amendment conditions prior to confirmation of their travel arrangements.  Once booked, the winner will be responsible for any cancellation or amendment fees applicable in relation to redemption of the Prize.
  16. The winner is responsible for providing and ensuring they are in possession of all passports, visas, permits and certificates required for travel to the relevant destination.  The Promoter shall not be responsible if, for any reason, the winner is unable to travel on the departure date the winner has selected in accordance with clause 10.
  17. House of Travel Limited will work with the winner to customise their travel arrangements if required.  The winner may vary the travel arrangements but the total value of the Prize must not exceed NZ$10,000.  Any extra charges incurred shall be at the winner’s own cost.
  18. Entry is open to New Zealand citizens ordinarily resident in New Zealand only.
  19. Employees of the Promoter, House of Travel Limited, its advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  20. Only entries complying with these terms and conditions of entry are valid.  Entries which are illegible, incomplete, or were obtained by or through fraud or other illegal activity, or entries not complying with these terms and conditions of entry are invalid.
  21. Posting of an application will not be taken as proof of receipt of that application or of a right of entry.
  22. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late or illegible applications.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry.  The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry in its sole discretion without giving reasons.  All decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  24. The winner will be notified by the Promoter by post to the address supplied by the entrant and by telephone to the telephone number(s) supplied by the entrant.  This notification will include information on how the Prize may be claimed.
  25. The Prize must be claimed by the winner by 25 July 2008.  In the event that the winner is unable to be contacted by the Promoter, or the Prize is not claimed by 25 July 2008, the winner’s entry will be declared invalid and a new winner will be randomly drawn on the same terms and conditions as the original draw.
  26. All travel associated with the Prize must be completed by 30 June 2009.  No travel associated with the Prize may be undertaken between 24 December 2008 and 2 January 2009 unless the winner agrees to be responsible for any additional charge(s) incurred as a result of travel being undertaken during that period.
  27. The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  28. Any pictures depicted on any marketing material in relation to the Promotion are indicative only and not necessarily meant to represent the type or locality of the Prize to be won.
  29. The Promoter shall not in any way be liable for any costs, expenses, penalties, fines or other charges associated with the Prize including, without limitation, any costs associated with travel insurance and/or domestic travel.
  30. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion, or the Prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law.  The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning the Prize.
  31. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  32. The winner agrees to be available for reasonable publicity purposes without compensation including, but not limited to, photographs and interviews.  The winner acknowledges that his or her personal details may be published on the internet or in an email.
  33. The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided with each entry to be used to notify the winner and to verify the identity and eligibility of the winner.  Entrants also have the option of having their personal information used to receive further promotional material from the Promoter.
  34. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by Liontamer Investment Services Limited, c/- Lock and Partners, level 1, 171 Hobson Street, Auckland.  Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information.  Entrants may correct any of the details about them which appear on the website by sending an email to info@liontamer.com.  The Promoter will destroy all entries once the prize has been claimed, with the exception of information provided by entrants who request receipt of further promotional material from the Promoter.
